Privacy Policy — Stead Fast

Stead Fast ("the App") is developed and maintained by Harp ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

1 Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information.

Stead Fast is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not require account creation, login, or registration of any kind.

Data stored locally on your device:

Schedule blocks — name, category, emoji, times, active days, reminder settings
Completion records — started, completed, or skipped status per block per day
Streak data — current and best streak counts
App settings — notification preferences, consistency goal, haptic feedback

All data is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. We never transmit, upload, or sync this data to any server, cloud service, or third party.

2 Information We Do NOT Collect

Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, address)
Location data
Contacts or calendar data
Photos, camera, or microphone data
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Analytics, crash reports, or usage telemetry
Financial or payment information
Health data
Browsing history

3 Notifications

The App uses local push notifications to remind you when a scheduled block starts. These notifications are:

Generated and triggered entirely on your device
Never sent through any external push notification service
Controlled by your device's notification settings
Able to be fully disabled within the App's Settings screen

Notification content (block name, motivational messages) is generated locally and never transmitted externally.

4 Third-Party Services

Stead Fast does not integrate with any third-party services, including:

Analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel)
Advertising networks
Crash reporting services (Crashlytics, Sentry)
Social media SDKs
Cloud storage or sync services

The App does not contain any advertisements.

5 Children's Privacy

Stead Fast does not target children under the age of 13. However, since the App collects no personal information whatsoever, it is safe for users of all ages. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations by not collecting any data from any user, regardless of age.

6 Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data is managed by your device's built-in security features (device lock, encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a secure lock screen.

7 Data Deletion

You can delete all App data at any time:

Open the App → Settings → Reset All Data — erases all completions, streaks, and custom blocks
Uninstall the App from your device — removes all locally stored data permanently

Since we do not store any data on external servers, uninstalling the App completely removes all associated data.

8 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
